All musicians are not looking to simply sell records, and it is far from all groups and individual musicians who have contracts with record companies. Here, the Internet has opened the door to amazing possibilities. The so-called DIY culture ( Do It Yourself ) actually thrive on the Internet. Anyone can now use a computer to record music and then spread the music all over the world thanks to the special services that distributes free music .
To launch his music under the license Creative Commons means briefly that you may disitrbuera music freely. Artists rarely serve any direct money from this, apart from any gifts, but they may like their music, find new fans and can thereby obtain gigs and the like.
In fact, there are an incredible number of bands around the world who spread their music as Creative Commons. There are many sites that focus on this type of music, and it should be emphasized that it is far from bad music here. Of course, you will not find the latest single from Kent or Madonna, but if you love to find new and exciting music of all genres, this is a gold mine.

Jamendo is one of the most famous sites in the music released under Creative Commons license. At this writing there are here over 25 000 albums to download. All are categorized and the site is easy to navigate in. The music charge legally downloaded as MP3 - or Ogg format to your hard drive.When I first found Jamendo, I wrote a short article about it to my blog. Then I found the one-man band Brad Sucks, and when I sat down with this article, I had to check up on Brad Sucks still remained. He did, and moreover, he had released a new album -Out of It .
Therefore, I use Brad Sucks - Out of It as an example to show how to download music from Jamendo. On this page you can click through to various categories, or browse the recommended music. In our case, enter " Brad Sucks " into the search field at the top of the page. When you get the search results, click through to Out of It.
I MP3-format music
On album pages with Jamendo, you can choose between listening to music streaming, or download it. Click on Download to download music to your hard drive, from which you can then transfer it to your MP3 player or mobile phone. The pop-up window that pops up, click again to download .
The download will now start automatically. If it does not, click on the link direct link at the top of the window. You can also choose to download the album via BitTorrent .Then you choose to download the music as either MP3 or Ogg. My experience is that it is faster to download normally, then it is not a lot of people distributing music via BitTorrent. Are the current media available with the recommended music, and Jamendo for spreading the word, it might be faster to use BitTorrent.

The file you download is archived in Zip format. That means you need a Zip utility to open it. Since Windows XP, Microsoft has implemented some support for Zip files in Windows, so probably you can open the file even if you do not have the Zip utility.Otherwise, you can download IZArc, which is freeware and free.
