Forget the paperless office - it is dead

A few years ago was talk much about thepaperless office . With datornas rampage, with e-mail and Word documents and all it is, so the paper would soon have had their day. Ha!
The paperless office was a dream and that dream is further away. Although we basically sit in front of our computers all day long (well, we who work in these industries that is). Now, says HP on a new European study shows that it is the younger generation who prefer paper over the old.
A recent survey in Europe in particular, what tools employees of small and medium-sized companies use when making decisions shows that the youngest has the greatest confidence in the printed surface. In the age group under 24 years say 84 percent that they use prints to 77 percent of all age groups and only 59 percent of the oldest, those over 55.
One would think that it was the opposite, but it's apparently not. The younger you are, the more reliance is placed anywhere on the paper. For skrivarbranschen this is of course good news. For the environment, it's not as good. Mother Nature never seems to manage to win.
I myself am not much better . My printer is quite warm, even if I try to keep it down.At work, for example, we never run out pages of newspapers on paper, but works exclusively with PDFs on screen. Personally I think that the biggest advantage of the paper, is that you can take it with you everywhere and you can scribble on it. It is not easy to scribble on an Excel or Word documents.
How do you do - print a lot, or run everything on the computer screen?
