New generation of Iomega with antivirus

Iomega eGo-series has become a popular choice among consumers who are looking for a small portable hard drive with good quality. Now comes the next generation, which includes virus protection.
I've tested a lot of external hard drivesfrom Iomega, over the years, and in summary, is the always high quality (with some exceptions for certain media, hard drives and a poor support for file formats). The most prominent is that they always feel very solid built and reliable - and that the price tag often is a notch higher than competing models with similar specifications.
eGo is a small external device that has an aluminum case which houses a disk of 2.5 inches. Since there is a small 2.5-inch drive, can do eGo stream coming from the USB connection. You need, therefore, no external power adapter, but it is just to connect a computer to get the disk. eGo weighs in at 200 grams.
The new generation comes with Iomega Protection Suite . This software includes McAfee VirusScan Plus (with a 6-month subscription), Iomega QuikProtect (simple backup), EMC Retrospect Express (advanced backup) and MozyHome Online Backup (online backup of 2GB).
Iomega eGo is available in several colors and also a shock-mounted model called the Black Belt . They come in capacities of 320 GB and 500 GB. For the 320 GB model is the target price 995 dollars and 500 GB will cost 1290 dollars. The shock-proof Black Belt, which holds 500 GB, has a price tag of 1490 dollars.
